Food Photography Photo Lab Session at Apple Orchard Road
Always grateful for opportunities like this that come along. I’ll be giving a talk at Apple Orchard Store on 14 July!
It feels a little scary, but at the same time I feel calm. Over the years, I’ve learnt not to worry too much about giving talks in public or having to face a crowd. Whatever will happen… will happen. And when in the presence of other humans—you can expect what will happen, but being human, anything can happen and it’s easier to just go with the flow on the day.
Do I get stage fright? Yes… I’ll probably be trembling just a little through the talk, but it’s really just like talking to a very large group of friends. And my practice through my Coffee & Cravings meetups have really helped to be able to chat with almost anyone.

A little rundown of what to expect…
I’ll be giving a short talk on my food photography journey, followed by tips & tricks for mobile photography and food styling.
You’ll then get the chance to be hands on and work on your own food styling! I’ll be providing some items for you to do this. Then you’ll practice your photography during the session.
We’ll take a look at everyone’s photos and run through some editing techniques using Adobe Lightroom CC on mobile.
Then… I might have some prizes to give out. (trying to keep this on the down low, yet I feel you should know) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
