𝙉𝙞𝙠𝙤𝙣 School ≫ Two weeks ago I instructed a Cocktail Photography workshop together with Bar Nikai. Participants walked through some drink photography tips, then got to make their own cocktails under the guidance of the cool guys at Bar Nikai.

Apart from capturing action shots of the drinks, I also set up a couple of photo booths with Aputure & Amaran lights. This session was unique as there was more hands on with the drinks than our other food photography sessions. Hope to host another workshop like this again soon.

Surprise. Had no idea the plate I made in pottery was perfect for eating my hotteok. Still finding my groove and style with my pottery pieces, but it's something I've found healing to work on and the community is encouraging and friendly. Lots to learn, but hopefully will come up with some pieces I like enough to give away or sell one day.

We had an enjoyable time at The Hainan Story Coffe

We had an enjoyable time at The Hainan Story Coffee House at NEX! 😋 This bustling spot is perfect for a mid shopping break or as a meal destination for the family. 🍲🍴 We couldn't get enough of Ah Mai's Chee Cheong Fun - one of my favourite everyday foods with a thick gravy and fried fishballs and dumplings. 🤤

The Curry Chicken Rice is another favourite, but the real surprise was the Lasagne Chwee Kueh - never thought traditional and modern could go together so well. Maybe it's all the cheesy goodness that kept me going back for more! 🌟

Our meal wouldn't be complete without the Crispy Hainanese Pork Cutlet and juicy Fried Chicken Wings. And for dessert, we were treated to Pandan Waffles topped with Rojak Jam and Gula Melaka Kaya. The rojak jam was oddly satisfying and unexpected. 🧇💚

The other night we visited Yun Nans and tried their new dishes! 🤩 The Stonepot Chicken Soup with Pig’s Stomach was comforting and full of flavor, but the hot dishes were the real highlight! 😍 The new Deep-fried Crispy Shrimp Heads and Stir-Fried Chayote Leaves with Soy Bean Sauce did not disappoint. The crispy garlic bits in the Stir-Fried Wild Porcini Mushrooms with Dried Chillies were absolutely divine! 🌟 We always have a fantastic time dining at Yun Nans, and our latest visit was no exception. Can’t wait for our next visit! 💕

I wasn't invited, so I didn't have the right gear with me, but this bird was friendly and perched low. It was so comfortable, it even tried to fly into me at one point, so I have one of those wobbly videos freaking out as the bird flys into my lens.

I walked around Bird Paradise the whole time thinking "the next time I come I need to have XX lens". 😂 #photographerproblems Can anyone relate?
